Sponge mats are designed for anti-fatigue comfort for standing workers. The conventional anti-fatigue sponge mats consist of blown-vinyl sponge that has the same open-cell structure throughout with a variety of different surface tops depending on the application required. They are intended for dry areas with light to moderate foot traffic. The other advantage for sponge mats is they are available in long rolls and can be used as anti-fatigue runners.
Sponge matting products generally offer the most affordable price point while providing excellent wear protection and tear strength. Keep in mind sponge mats are made to be replaced after a certain amount of time and use. For improved wear, choose sponge mats that have added compounds.
